Booked this twice now and will b def going again. Great for a relaxing break or group vacation, lovely villa clean pool, BBQ area, pool table, staff very helpful, looking fwd to go in again. We drove there with friends had a couple of days at the villa ,afternoon round kusadasi town, and a day at water park, so for anybody wanting to go see other places or visit the beach prob best to hire car or ask about local bus service.

We lost our way to the Villas as the Sat Nav got completely lost with the new road layout, a phone call to the reception to an English speaking person was a delight and within 15 mins he'd escorted us, upgraded us and saw to our every need. A wonderful place in the countryside of Kusadasi. The Villa was exceptional complete with bar-b-que, beautiful swimming pool and all the amenities a self catering villa could ask for. Restaurant is small and friendly with a selection of food available. Staff we're amazing and Serka the complex manager will be an added bonus to know whilst we live in Turkey. Our weekends will be great in these great surroundings. Can't wait to go again!

Wonderful weekend retreat

I stayed at Hotel Adavilla for 7 days. I chose this hotel as I was under the impression that it was close to the beach and and local amenities. However, it is not! 

The beach was at least 30minute drive away, and although it may not seem too bad, unless you take the Dolmus (bus - which, you have to walk(6minutes) down the steep hill to reach and is a 45 minute ride to the beach) then you have to hire a taxi. And taxi services are super expensive considering all taxis only work on the meter (this is because during off-peak seasons they travel to other areas, such as Istanbul, to earn their wage). So it would cost roughly 50TL, which currently sits around £14, to get to the beach and main centre area. Although this doesn't seem too bad, but touring around and and going back and forth, it all adds up.
And all the tourist attractions are atleast 30-40minutes drive away (National Dilek Park, Sirince, Centrum....) 

Local amenities was atleast 10minutes drive away, and this was to Kippa (Tesco) and a few outlet stores. To get to the markets, you would have to travel for 30minutes.

Hotel Adavilla has it's own restaurant and little store (which just about stocks some basic necessities). But the quality of food at the restaurant did not wow me. Although breakfast was always prompt and delivered to our door, which we loved, when we walked down to the restaurant for dinner we were hugely disappointed. We ordered Adana Kebabs, a classic, hoping for our first taste of great authentic Turkish food, but was presented with thin, bland, overcooked kebabs, which was more of fast-food quality than home made. We never dined there for dinner again, or lunch, but we continued to have our breakfasts there as they did do a nice spread (cheese, salad, olives, honey, jam, fresh breads, omlettes, tea). The best restaurants we found were Bulbul restaurant in Centrum, Saray Restaurant, and there was one other.... Most places are overrated and serve fast food quality food! So beware and be warned!

The other downfall of the villa was that there was consistently an issue with the boiler. We did not have access to hot water all the time, which meant showering was a pain. 

Another issue we had was that there was no WIFI, I mean..they offer WIFI, and you may just be able to connect, but it's useless! We were informed you do not get access to wifi inside the villa, only outside - and that too, the connection was extremely poor. We ended up having to buy a cheap mobile wifi from Vodafone in Centrum - £80 for unlimited internet for the week (mobile wifi - well worth it!). We could not even connect to the WIFI at the restaurant of the villa...

Another issue we found was that, we were advised not to use the pools after 6pm. Ridiculous! This was for cleaning purposes, but that could and should have been arranged at later hours so that we could enjoy the pool. We were informed we could request to use it in the evening but must inform them before 6pm, so that they do not put the medicine in. What we weren't informed was that we would be CHARGED to use the pool after 6pm! Ridiculous! As you can imagine, I refused to pay!

The beds. Now where do I get started? Is there any point in me getting a turkish massage and then coming home to sleep on a stiff mattress, and you can feel all the springs? It was horrible! My back suffered a lot! 

The air-con was useless as it only had one speed setting, so it was pretty much ON or OFF..you could adjust the heat..but you don't want to blast cool air? Opening the windows..and you'll invite the mosquitos in. 

Oh, and finally, they switched our villas before we arrived. It was a pain really. We paid for the villa and as part of the package, we would get a pool table. We didn't get one as our villa was switched! 

There were some good points about this villa though - the main bedroom was beautiful...it had a large balcony with a hammock. The rest of the rooms were not decorated whatsoever, so it kind of spoiled it. The main living area was nicely decorated. Bathrooms was cleaned.
There was a good cleaning service provided when, and if, you needed it. The pool was clean and well maintained. 

Although I paid barely £400 to stay at this villa for 7 nights, whilst it was decent to some degree...I would rather stay at a different villa or maybe a hotel even. Just not AdaVilla again. Ever.
