Great place and great staff. Fully recommend

Not really a hotel, but rather a simple guest house with a dozen rather summarised rooms, and it lacks comfort and modernity, even if we find the essentials. The water room is a Turkish space, so very rudimentary For breakfast it is like the rest very simple, a few tartines and 1 chocolate bread and 1 yogurt. You can't call it a good breakfast (see photos) The only interest is that this establishment is located on the beach.

We stayed there one night in June 2022. We had booked at Lastminute the day before. Apparently, there was a couch in the reservation... but everything worked out very quickly and we got our room. The comfort there is simple, but the hotel is super well located, on the corridor, 2 steps from the medina, on the beach with direct access with no road to cross, breakfast was plentiful, and the warm welcome... I think so, but to keep us patient, we asked for a refreshment, which we did not pay for! Sorry... Anyway, don't hesitate to book a stopover in Madhia in this small hotel.

Lovely hotel on beachfront with easy access and parking.Nice big room with pleasant furnishings.Owners very helpful -my partner required after hours dental care and she came with us and arranged it The dentist also didnt charge us.Nice breakfast

Hotel Mahdia

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and I must say, it was our favourite hotel during our 24 day visit in Tunisia.  Rooms a spacious, clean and bright and look out over the beach and ocean.  It is a pleasant 25 minute stroll along the corniche to the medina. 
We loved the staff, especially the couple who run the place.  The smile never left their faces and they are extremely kind people.  The manager kept surprising us with little “gifts”.  Once it was some bread and olive oil to dip it in when we sat outside and had something to eat (our own food), another time he brough us a mint tea when we sat and looked over the beach, another time coffee.  We felt super relaxed, totally at home.  We regretted having to leave and I find myself thinking back of this place.  Just go – you will love it!

I still miss this lovely place

I left a tip to the lady of the hostel whose memory of kindness is my consolation of this stay.The hostel training, a training office could well advise the owner how to welcome his guests well.No toilet towels that are regularly removed as they are asked and brought back, we sometimes hear the intimate noises of the lovely drinks and the friendly calls.

It's definitely a one-story structure but, however, the location by the sea, they make a choice for those who don't like the splendor of the usual casermoni by tourists but don't want to give up on the beach. That said, you have to arm yourself with courage and accept the reverse of the medal.
