33 reviewsI stayed here for 4 nights, my first time to stay although I have eaten in the restaurant on many occasions, over the years. Klein Heidelberg is on the north of Pattaya, 100 meters off Naklua Road. The location really suited me as it away from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya, and yet you can get downtown in 10 minutes, or less, by baht bus (cost 25 cents). There is a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shopping in the immediate area, and not much more than a 5 minute walk to the lovely beach at Wongamat. My room was very comfortable, with good aircon, flat screen TV, a great bed, etc.. I was a little worried about traffic noise, as the road can be very busy, especially with tour buses bringing tourists to and from beachfront hotels, and my room was on the 1st floor, overlooking the road. However, I was not disturbed by traffic noise, and I slept like a baby. It is owned by a charming German man, whose name is Jurgen, who was very helpful to me. The manager, a Thai lady, is efficient, pleasant and courteous. Food in the restaurant is very good, and reasonably priced. I can think of only one word to describe the staff, in the restaurant and the guesthouse , " SWEETHEARTS ". Jurgen, I will be back.
