Aura Relaxing & Spa Hotel

The rooms in Howdy were excellent. The bed was huge and comfortable and was in a generously sized room. Everything was considerable new and exceptionally clean. The massive color photographs that are on the wall above the beds really brighten the room and give it energy. The bathroom was certainly adequate also. My room had ceiling high windows which overlooked pool area. The swimming pool is nice, a good place to rest, but let down by old broken pool furniture. The breakfast was nice, though not a lot of variety was offered. I tried no other meals. The location is a big problem. As it is relatively new, many people in town do not know it and it can be difficult to get there - especially without overpaying immensely! It is also very hard to get out of there, as no buses or taxis pass by, and as there's nothing of use within a great walking distance, you're almost stuck there! This is ideal if you're wanting a reclusive getaway, but if you're looking to explore Krabi town, it's inconvenient (to say the least). There is a shuttle taxi at night for free, which was nice.
