23 reviewsWe took a tuktuk to the accommodation from the bus station. This should cost about 100 baht. You have to barter with the driver. We arrived at the residence and there was no one at the front desk. You may have to wait a minute on the comfy sofa, but someone will come to help you. Our room was spacious and very clean. We loved having a refrigerator and small freezer. There was ample storage for clothing and personal items. Every day we got new bottled water and coffee packets. There was also a water cooler for water refills downstairs in the lobby. The AC in the room was topnotch. The bathroom was a typical Thai bathroom with no shower curtain to separate things but this is usual. There was a 7-11 down the street to the right as well as a small restaurant on the right just as you come down the drive. There was a market in the evening on Monday just down the street which had food stalls, local produce and assorted wares. We are walkers and walked to the Bridge over the River Kwai though many people might think it too far at about 4 kilometers round trip but it is possible to walk most places. Our only complaint is that the bed was somewhat hard but again this is usual in many Thai accommodations. There were so many good things about this place that we could overlook the bed but just thought it should noted.
