1 reviewMaking our way to the eastern seaboard, we found ourselves getting tired. Not wanting to risk driving another 3 hours, decided to find something easy. Found this online and booked...not expecting too much (and not needing much - just a clean bed), we got an actual apartment in a new building, new furniture, a bunch of cable channels and helpful staff for less than 30 dollars! Its located around the corner from a Tesco Fresh and 7-11. There's also a bunch of food stalls. We got fed for pretty cheap and slept really well in our king bed. The matress is Asian firm (fyi). I use about the same at home, so bedding gets full marks from me, but for those who prefer soft bedding, be aware, its on the firm side. We had a peek-a-boo of the Gulf from our service balcony. Some of the other rooms have better views. Best of all, there are a bunch of cable channels, including several english language movie and tv shows. Something that can be hard to find outside Bangkok. In the AM, we headed by car 5 minutes down to one of the best seafood fresh markets in Thailand where we bought fresh shrimp and crab to cook when we got to our destination. In short: quality lodging in an interesting spot for a reasonable price. We'll probably do this stopover again
