Huan Kum Huk

Huan Kum Huk or House of Warm Love is located in the heart of Sri Chaing Khan road, Chiang Khan district in the Northern part of Loie province. There are many hotels, guesthouses and home stays along the riverside road of Chaing Khan that may cause you confused to select a good one. Most of them are good but I would strongly recommend to stay at Huan Kum Huk because apart from wooden physical setting which is similar throughout the area, the owner of Huan Kum Huk known as Khun Yai (Grand Mother in Thai) will welcome and take car you from the warm heart more than you are guests but her grand sons / daughters. I have not experienced this for long long time even in 5-star hotels or resorts as they do becuase they are trained to do but not like this. I would nail down into the details that I booked Huan Kum Huk with one of leading online hotel booking website but they didn't reported my booking to the hotel. Then, I turned up with no booking at about 21.00 hrs. and Huan Kum Hak was fully booked. The owner of Huan Kum Huk managed to find the place for me to stay that night in about 5 minutes which was super fast and she kept saying sorry sorry to me even though it was not her fault at all but not even asking me to see the voucher at all. It was a matter of trust. During the stay there, she kept asking me if everything allright or need anything else. She waited down stay to make sure that I have gone to bed well and if anything I need in the middle of the night. I can't tell you all how this feel in wording you have to be there yourself and you will see.
