I visited Yilan in December with my family of 4 adults and 1 toddler. The moment I made my reservation, the owner Bonnie added me on whatsapp to liaise with me directly. She was very friendly and sent me many links to recommend me food to try and places to visit in Yilan. She also helped me get a driver for our tour in Yilan. She was very helpful to our needs. The guesthouse was tastefully decorated. It's very clean and neat. There are 2 rooms on level 2, 2 rooms on level 3 and 1 big room which is made up of two rooms on level 4. There is no lift but the male owner helped to carry our luggages up. The room on level 4 was good for us as it allowed my husband and I some privacy from my in laws, yet the space was big enough for our toddler to roam around. All the beds are king sized and comfy. There was home made breakfast provided on our first day and they bought some local favourites for us on the second day. Service was excellent! Location wise, it's about 10-15 min walk from the popular Luo Dong night market. The owners also provided a map listing all the popular eateries and stalls in the night market, and reccomendations of places to visit. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse for travellers with young children and also couples who enjoy a peaceful stay.
