Amber Hotel

Having never reviewed before but depending on reviews myself I felt moved after our recent stay at the Annahof to write my first. We have just returned from our third trip to Saas Fee. On booking at the Hotel Annahof I was very keen on the location of the Hotel which is ski in ski out, central for town but quiet. Once we arrived at the newly renovated hotel we were also treated to fantastic food - great breakfasts served speedily and always with a smile and fabulous evening meals the food really is as good as any restaurant in Saas Fee and the dining room location next to a bubbling stream is picturesque. Egolf and his team could not have done more to make us welcome and to ensure we enjoyed our stay, their kindness and generosity meant we skied hard - collecting our ski's from the hire shop opposite the hotel and enjoying a full day of skiing despite arriving after midnight on our travel day - we had time to rest and recover apres ski in the rooms and lovely seating areas before our fantastic meal each night. There are a wide variety of rooms and room configurations so if you have children (we have three) it is worth sending an email so that you have the set up that works for you. We did not have time to use the spa or hot tub which both looked great, next time we will stay longer and I will book a room with a bathtub overlooking the valley!
