Recently visited the hotel on a two nights stay with my wife , daughter and granddaughter. Used the buses to take us from the train station direct to the hotel. It is way out of town but only 15 minutes by bus which stops outside the hotel. The hotel is spotless with very comfortable beds. The rooms are spacious with very nice en suites. Breakfast was plentiful and very fresh . Staff were all friendly and helpful. But the best thing about the hotel was the magnificent views over the lake. This is worth the cost of staying at the hotel just for that. My only quibble was the wifi which was rather hit and miss but that is only a minor irrigation.

Guests travelling by public transport can reach the property from the main train station by bus (N.2 and N.4) or by using the funicular Lugano Città TPL. In either ways (buses or funicular) you will arrive to Lugano Centro. From Lugano Centro station there is a direct bus (N.12) to Monte Brè that stops at "Aldesago", 200 metres from the hotel. For guests with heavy luggage or walking difficulties: please continue 50 metres after the hotel by car, then turn left in order to reach the main entrance.
