We stayed there for 2 nights after Christmas and before New Year. The guesthouse is primarily a restaurant where people grab a drink or bite to eat before and after skiing. There's a ski lift just beside. There are a small number of rooms upstairs. it is a busy spot during the day with the ski patrons. We were not skiing and found many beautiful walks in the area. The landscape is breathtaking. For us the thing that really stood out from the trip was the very warm welcome from the staff. They could not be more friendly. All went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel at home. The meals in the restaurant were amazing. The food was delicious and was mainly local produce and specialities. We never ate so well or so much!!. I cannot recommend the Bergasthaus enough!
