The hotel is in a nice quiet spot along the Obersee lake; the views are really quite spectacular and there are plenty of hiking routes available to explore the area around. Overall, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were very nice (although one room did have a funky smell). The only real downside is the drive! If you are not used to driving along the mountainside it can be quite the harrowing experience as getting to the hotel requires a 7km trek up a winding cliff-side road that is only barely wide enough to allow for two-way traffic in most places, and in some places is only wide enough for one car.
