6 reviewsFor a very reasonable rate, this little B&B has served me three times now as a great base from where to explore one of the most beautiful and least exploited regions of the Swiss Alps for a few days. The hosts are very helpful with all the information on the area you could ask for. From Grone it’s a reasonable drive to the start of hiking paths in the Val de Rechy and the Val de Herens, or to cable cars in the Val d’Annivers. There are trails everywhere and for all levels of hikers. In summer the cable car from Vercorin to Crêt du Midi even offers you the possibility of seeing the sunrise at an altitude of over 2300 along with breakfast without walking 20 meters! Back in Grône I had the use of a small kitchen, good coffee at any hour, a refrigerator, and a lovely balcony with a table and chairs. Breakfast is continental, simple with good coffee, homemade jams and good bread. There are four small bedrooms (I believe) that share a bathroom and kitchen. All is keep impeccably clean. For the price, excellent free WiFi, the full use of the kitchen, the hospitality of the hosts and the location, this B&B was perfect for me.
