Very nice stay in the newer cabins. There were a coffee machine missing and some spoons when we arrived, but got them immediatly when asked, all nice and new.  Clean and tidy cabin with a wonderful sea wiev. Only the beds could have had a bit thicker overmatrasses. Warmed pool was great and the beach was close. Bicycles for rent were in great condition, and along the beach promenade there was very nice restaurants. Quiet and calm holiday resort. We highly enjoyed our stay!

Great stay, awesome location! Reality cozy and surrounded by beautiful nature including beaches. In addition the service was outstanding - really accomodating and friendly. We highly recommend their cottages!

Old cottage vacation place - we love the location with pines shading your cottage. Very close to the sea - sand beach but with a bit stone under water. Shallow quite a bit thus good for kids. Swedish sea temperature thus indeed cooling in a heat wave.

The food in the resort bistro is very good - try the here-made lasagna or burger. And, the ice cream is good and varied.

The cottages are old but well kept with a fireplace, old pretty and working windows, different not so fast wifi choices?, TV.

This is a quiet place, family-style. You can find quite much activities here, check at reception/web site.

Local restaurants and food etc shops help you through your stay, if you wish.

There is a pool today, included in your price of the stay. It has happened occasionally that algae are not healthy for kids or dogs who swallow sea water when you go to the beach. Ask at the reception.

We love this place, and are happy it has remained but updated itself, throughout decades.

Beautiful place, the cottage was cozy and had enough space around to play on the grass while not being disturbed by the others. It was very close to the beach, which on the other hand was not cleaned from sea-grass and therefore not really the best to enter the water. The restaurant/creperie in the camp was expensive compared to the value of the food (especially burger was not good and the ingredients on crepes were the cheapest). The French man serving in the creperie had not the nicest behaviour, e.g. ssitting and moking in the restaurant near to our kids (the new law banning smoking on the restaurants gardens was not valid yet).

In Ljugarn you can have your tent very close to the shore. Nice and family friendly place. Service house is old but it's kept clean. Very nice and friendly atmosphere. Kids liked the pool a lot! Nice rauk  (gotland stones) area close by.

Our gnomish friend loved the camping a lot. We went there with a tent and the campspots were great. The facilities are a bit simple (near the tents) but when you walk a bit further there are better quality toilets. Sadly the shower temperature wasn't adjustable. 
The nearby beach is perfect for swimming if you don't mind the cold sea water.

Our family spend one week in this place in June. The little village of Ljugarn was very quiet at this time. The tourist season really starts at the last week of june, so we were a there a bit too early. Many of the restaurants were just opening their doors for the season.
The cottages were quite big and well kept. The area was also tidy and very green. The sea is just on the other side of the little road that goes beside the semesterby, about 100 meters from the cottages. The is a nice beach-area. This is an ideal place with children and also for people who want to spend time in the nature. The sun seems to be shining almost all the time.

Nice camping on the sea shore for the family

arrived late at night without any instructions on how to reach our cabin with the car and all the luggage, so my husband went off-roading.  we also had to ask the neighbors (at 10:30 pm) for a wi-fi code.  we were told we had to pay for linens or bring our own and that we had to clean the place before leaving.  at the rate we were paying ($180 us/night) this all seemed sketchy.  the location is good, but you have to really like roughing it to be happy here...we don't.

ok...if you're happy having your bathroom in another building etc

Overpriced campsite 

Location is good but reservations management and facilities are insufficient. 

Reservation system doesn’t work- we did not get the pitch for our tent that we paid for as it was taken by someone else and the staff did not find a solution.
Only one decent toilet in the tent area so most of the time there was a line of people waiting.
For the shower you need to tap a card for each consecutive minute that you want to use it. Without the card you don’t even get cold water. So when you are washing your hair you have to open your eyes and be careful not to get soap in them when you are locating the place to tap your card again for a price of 20 kronen per 1 minute.
The place to brush your teeth has to be shared with washing dishes.
