Mannflogården Bed & Breakfast

We stayed in a family room while visiting Salen for our ski trip.  The room was spacious and everything was neat and clean.

The family room was located on the upper level. It has a queen bed and 2 bunks in a separate room. The setting was just nice for a family of four.  Linens were clean, beds and pillows were comfortable.  There were also plenty of hooks for us to hang our winter and ski suits.  

Breakfast  was served in another building next to ours where the host lived.  

A car is probably needed to get to the Salen Ski Resort.

We went there right at the end of the ski season with a group of 4.  Straight to the point : Owners are very nice people, helpful and with a pretty good english.  The room had a wooden Scandinavian charm to it, very warm, quite spacious with views onto nearby river.  Additionally its well equipped with modern amenities (LCD tv, wifi) and all you need in the kitchen.  The location is just off the main road, next to a forest and quite a large river (some cool walks in the forest as we found out).  
It took us around 5 minutes by car to get to the nearest ski slopes.  About the only thing that could be slightly improved is the breakfast and the shower room.  It does the job quite well, but its the same breakfast every day :-) ... So, I am not sure whether I've got any case to complain about here....As for the shower, its all good, but the curtain really needs a wood devider underneath so that the water does not spill under the curtain and around the bathroom...Its a quick fix that I am sure the owner will attend to :-)
Overall, it was an absolute pleasure to stay there and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.....booking.com has more reviews and they all seem to be pretty high.
