Very nice and spacious house, perfect for 2 families, the alcove beds were very opular for kids of all ages, lots of nooks and corners, place for everyone to find some peace or play together. Large and spacious kitchen. The host was very nice and friendly took us out for a great wildlife "safari" in the nearby woods, Great environment, scenic, green, peaceful with many wonderful lakes

We (two families) spent two weeks at this really 'comfy' mansion, the yellow house. We felt at home instantly and the children loved the boxbeds in their spacious rooms upstairs. It is really a house with character, fully equipped kitchen and BBQ outside. Enough room for all people to find a place to read, watch the scenery, play games, indoor or outdoor, and having darts, football, and as bonus the traditional Swedish Kubb game.
The owner Ingela was an excellent host and so friendly to help us decide where to go, e.g., the delicious 'fika' at Ekenäs(!), visit Malmköping, canoe on lake Båven from Skebokvarn, etc.  Although the internet connection was troublesome at first, she went the extra mile to get it fixed and it worked satisfactory afterward.
We even visited Stockholm from here, even though the journey took us approx. 1h30m. 
All in all the experience was excellent, highly recommended!

Very clean, nicely furnished and spacious apartment. The surrounding area is very beautiful, with a lot to do. Only a short drive to the neighbouring town, Flen. The hostess is extremely friendly and helpful. We spent an idyllic week there! Wifi was a bit dodgy sometimes, but that's the only complaint.

The rooms were clean and decorated in a homely, tasteful style. The house and location is absolutely beautiful, it's in the middle of the countryside with plenty of forests and lakes to explore; in short, we had a wonderfully idyllic stay and I can't reccomend Sättrabo enough.

What a lovely place with great hosts this is. We (2 adults and 2 young boys) stayed for 4 nights in one of the apartments in the red house. The self-contained apartment was very spacious, with ouw own kitchen/dining, private bathroom and tastefully decorated throughout. The bedroom has a large double bed and two quaint beds in separate alcoves separated from the main space by curtains for the kids. 
This really is a great place to relax or for a romantic getaway for couples. It is surrounded by forests and lakes. When we visited the forest was full of blueberries, wild strawberries, cantarelles and other goodies. We could go on a walk and snack on nature's best to keep us going. We saw lots of wildlife, deer, foxes, toads, hares, and lots of tracks from wild boar and elk or moose.
In the area, the nearest centres are Flen and Katrineholm. The latter has some good second hand stores (behind the train station) and the town centre is worth a look. We made some great trips from Sattra Bo as a base. We very much enjoyed our visit to Gripsholm Slott in Mariefred, and the old town centre and harbour in Mariefred. Our kids also enjoyed a visit to a fairytale park and playground on the way to Eksilstuna from Malmkoping (I forgot the name, something like Solstevangen). And what was the greatest, after you come back from a long walk in the forest or sightseeing in the neighbouring towns, Sattra Bo has a sauna that is open for guests - winding down with a cold beer or other beverage of choice, fantastic! I would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing time for families, couples at any time of the year. I even understand it is open for company meetings / gatherings (I may suggest this to my boss for our next team building event ;-) ).
