36 reviewsIt was fantastic to revisit the Hilltop for the 5th time and to see that the excellent efforts from all the staff has resulted in the Hilltop maintaining its place as the Best Guesthouse in the Boossa province in my humble opinion. All green open areas were immaculately tendered by Peter with an abundance of colour and several 4 legged "Lawnmowers" (read cows) in the lower levels of the 5 acre gardens were chewing away to their hearts content. The evening meal preparation, food quality and variety was left to Ravi with fresh produce brought in on a daily basis. Very pleased go see that Ravi's chickens were supplying plenty of eggs especially if you required something other than the beautiful fresh fruits at breakfast. Ravi's evening meals can only be described as first class and the various fish, prawn and crab curries were something you could never repeat at home. I was even given some of his curry blends to take home with me. All in all it was a truly relaxing 3 weeks away from the miserable weather in Europe. The afternoon pool dip and sundowners were also looked forward to with great anticipation. I can thoroughly recommend the Hill Top if you need an exceptional place to stay away from the crowds but still within easy access of the coast and Galle.
