Excelent tuna sesame with perfect salad, amazing seared prawns, delicious tuna tartare and great pasta with prawns, for us it’s best restaurant in Midigama area. Staff of restaurant very friendly and funny. You have to try this restaurant for sure.

We stayed here for 1 night as there was a mix up with where we had booked. Comfortable and good value room, but for us it was the food, we ate at Dorians every night during our stay! Can highly recommend the tuna steak followed by the chocolate brownie! Great staff and friendly atmosphere.  They also organised a taxi to the airport which was again great value. Thanks, we will be back!

The staff at Dorian were all very friendly and helpful. Even coming last minute they were extremely accommodating. Clean spacious rooms with comfy beds and only a 3min walk to the beach. I'd recommend you make a point to stay here.

Dorian guesthouse is a beautiful relaxing place to stay. The location is perfect in a little street close to the wonderful palmbeach (Midigama). It is a great place for surfing but also a place to rest and enjoy. The stuff is very friendly and helpfull. Dolly is a very sweet hostess and she will make you feel at home. Hiruna is also a very happy and funny host. The vibe is very good and the rooms are great! We had room number 9, very big, nice bed with mosquito net, great balcony view, ventilator, open doors, good big shower, we loved it!! The food was good, we really liked the springrolls, tuna sandwich, banana pancake, strong coffee and fresh juices! Thank you and hope to See you again 🙏🏼❤️

The food is fantastic. The tuna steak is so fresh and cooked to perfection. Had a few other dishes that were very good but this one was outstanding :) 
The terrace at the back is also really nice to be at. Beautiful garden!
Also, the staff is really friendly. Overall a great experience

We stayed at Dorian's on our  trip to Sri Lanka in October. The staff is really great and very helpful. They gave us as many information as possible about some surfspots and places to visit and they booked our airport transfer. Breakfast was great! (Sylva is a great cook!). There is quite humidity in the room, but witch is normal due to the tropical climate,but also simple and quite! There was no a/c in our room but fan works just fine during the night! 

We had some really nice breakfast here! The service is good and there are some good deals on the menu. Eggs were good and some great fruit juice. The interior and guesthouse looks really nice too. Can recommend!

Also very nice service and friendly staff. I didn’t stay in the guesthouse thought some friend did and mentioned that the rooms where clean and comfortable. 
Fair prices and good quality food!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The mood in this guesthouse is very relaxing. The kitchen is delicious. The guest house is also very well located. Quiet and 200m to the beach. Some surfspots are walking distance. Very good if not best price and value around here.

We stayed at Dorian‘s for a few days and we can only recommend it! Amazing location, close to the beach and surf spots, great restaurant, where you can get everything from curry to pizza&coffee, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, chill atmosphere, all for a great price! 

Höchstens empfohlen auch wenn nur fürs Abendessen ist!

Relaxing place to be

Simple accommodation, great staff!

We stayed here on our recent trip to Sri Lanka as a party of 4. Staff was great, very accommodating and helpful. They really made sure that our stay is as comfortable as possible, booked our airport transport and various tours. Food in the restaurant was quite nice, they have a big variety. The atmosphere in the hotel is very chill. Rooms are simple but clean.
