While I would look for a 4 or 5 star hotel my sister, who was thumbing thru a old guide book, came up with this ‘home stay’. I could not fault it in anyway. Off the ring road and slightly up the hill, it’s far enough away to be above the tuk tuk noise and pollution. It’s an easy 10 minute work down to the lake and then into town. Our hosts were really friendly and ready to help with suggestions and arranging a car to Dambulla. Excellent breakfast to set you up for the day and dinner if requested. Spotlessly clean and comfortable!
