Dream View Villa

Stayed in the Villa Dream View on the island of. St.Martin. The villa sits on the hill overlooking the Little Bay. It’s new,!modern, comfortable villa with the private pool. Erik and Rochellie were great hosts and answered a lot of questions about restaurants, beaches and things to do. The views from the pool patio were breathtaking. The villa is equipped with everything you would need, plus. There was a welcome basket, wine, coffee.. The grocery store is near, but expect to pay more because the stuff is shipped to the island. You would need a vehicle, preferably a Jeep. You would need a 4 wheel drive with a high clearance if you have more than four people in a vehicle. The roads are steep, naroow and not always in good repair, especially the higher up you go. I wouldn’t recommend drinking and driving on those roads at night, we’ll no more than a drink or two. People are friendly and local drivers very considerate, something I rarely experience at home. The island beaches are beautiful but a good drive from where we stayed. St. Martin is still recovering tthe devastation of the hurricane that hit the island in 2017. If you want to experience two cultures on one island pick St. Martin/ Sint Maarten for your sunny relaxing vacation. I highly recommend the Villa Dream View and it’s hosts Erik and Rochellie.
