Kumbuk Sevena Adventure Camp

We came and just did the rafting and canyoning, it was great fun! Our guide was very friendly and was always smiling and gave good, clear instructions. Safety was important. Would recommend to everybody.

We had a great time rafting with the Kumbuk Sevena Adventure Camp! Beautiful views, fun in the rapids, friendly guides and delicious meal after :) It was great - and really funny - to watch the go pro videos afterwards !

Went there recently with husband. Since our last visit six month ago, noticed highly developed camp site. Good team managed by Ekka and Candy. .,who are true adventure guys. If you want tipical sri lanka food and a taste of rafting this is the place . Highly recomandable. 

This is a well maintained, clean and picturesque property. You have the choice of staying in Log huts and tents. the area is surrounded by lots of vegetation and has a restaurant, logwood bar and seating areas. Hammocks, volleyball courts and a treetop viewing platform are available. We stayed in the log huts and had a wonderful experience. Although barbeque and free wifi were mentioned in the booking, the manager did not arrange for either.

Nicely designed property in the banks of river. Property is equipped with few elevated  tents and one large room. 

Tents are offered with mattresses, mosquito nets, and air cooler fans. 3 people can be accommodated in a tent.
Common washrooms and toilets are available.

please don’t expect all the luxuries as this is a budget- Value for money lodging place for travelers who are interested in water rafting and adventure tourism.

Property offered BBQ + dinner on most Saturdays. 
Food, quantity of food, service level is highly commendable.

Staff of the hotel is delighted to serve you with their best and i will recommend this property 

Access to the property is by way of a very narrow footpath and vehicle parking 
is offered in a nearby property.

We stayed one night and did rafting, abseiling and canyoning, all 3 activities were well run, safe and great fun as the guides are awesome making it exciting.  The rapids are perfect for family rafting, the waterfall where the abseiling takes place is stunning and the canyoning great fun. I would recommend that you book these activities with this company     because of  the guides, they are all lovely, genuine guys.

We stayed here for one night and did canyoning and rafting with them. the activities were great, well managed and the guides were awesome. However the camp itself could be a little better managed, when we arrived the room wasn't ready and most of the staff don't seem to know what's going on. The room we had was ok, bit it's a bit of a walk to the toilet block in the night. I'd probably recommend the cheaper 'tents' they offer which are very similar to the rooms anyway! The food was also very nice, a great selection of barbecued meats and plenty of buffet rice and vegetables that was delicious! I think that this may be one of the best camps in Sri Lanka, given the remoteness and how undeveloped the area is.

Rafting staffs are not well-trained. 2/3 boats  toppled

Average place for a stay

Rustic comfortable camp site with log cabins and tents offering all comforts overlooking  river.Ideal for thrill seekers who have a choice of adventure sports on offer.Dont forget to speak to the management Ekka/ Candy or Tharanga who are of immense help.We enjoyed the food , accomodation and the wild surrounding.The wild boar curry and BBQ night was the best part of our stay.Reasonable prices of all packages on offer.
