After doing several property viewings throughout Sri Lanka I(visiting developer of manu years) I finally  decided to take a break in Ella (crazy adventurous I know!) all I can say is amazing. I’ve been with the whole family and it really felt like home (if you want to party party don’t recommend. Of all my years on this beautiful island this is honestly the more genuine experience I’ve found. As

Very clean room, linen, washroom and almost everything. Got more than for the price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to the city and also to the nine arch bridge and little adams peak.

We stayed at Ivy Lodge for one night having arrived from Nuwara Eliya.
The room was spotlessly clean and location excellent. It was a five minute walk to town and there were several restaurants nearby.
Little Adams Peak and the Nine Arches bridge are easily accessible.
Breakfast served on the terrace, is delicious.
The hostess is charming and nothing is too much trouble for her.
Ivy Lodge is a great place to stay and while basic  is highly recomended

Shanty is a wonderful woman and prepared us some delicious breakfast! The room is spacey, clean, has very comfortable beds and hot shower with good pressure. The wifi was also very good! I highly reccomend Ivy Lodge!

The rooms are really clean, the wood floor is very nice and the bed is comfortable with mosquito net. The bathroom is big and the shower has pressure and hot water. Shanty, the owner, is a lovely lady and prepares some amazing breakfast. Well appreciated the everyday afternoon welcome drink. Wifi works really good. Really recomanded !!

We've spent there 2 nights. House is close to the centre of Ella town. Price is reasonable. Room looks nice and quite clean. Very nice and friendly owner. I'd recomend this place to cost-effective travellers
