Water Garden Hotel

I have been there for a function for two times. This hotel is very attractive and a good place, Meals also in a satisfactory level. Friendly staff with all facilities. Rooms and the inside of the other premises are well maintaining and  the rates are at a reasonable price.

Hospitality at its best - Very friendly and helpful management and staff - Attention to details - Cleanliness was admirable especially in times of pandemic - Value for money as situated in close proximity to the nature's hidden beauties - Food was very tasty, well planned and customized - The management had actually gone an extra mile to satisfy our personliazed lunch menus  - Very impressive work overall under the new management - Our families are already ooking forward to make it an annual holiday destination - The sound of the spring water which falls to the adjacent stream is still echoing in our ears -  Wish Water Garden all the success to do even better!

went to this place for one night stay. The rooms were really clean and the bathrooms are well kept with solar powered hot water. Wifi was really good and free. But due to an ISP error it was not available. Cant blame the hotel for that. Staff was really really friendly and accommodated our every need. 

Breakfast was amazing. Me being a local it was among the best I have had so far. Living room area was fun to hand around and the with a little side veranda facing a paddy field. 

Only downside was the pillow. It was a hard pillow and would suggest to change it asap.

The place is worth as a budget accommodation option. It's located on Colombo - Badulla main road, just after the Belihuloya narrow bridge. Manager and the staff were friendly and helpful. They serve traditional local food. I would say this is one of the best places to taste real Sri Lankan food, they are so delicious. The place is calm and peaceful too. Wifi speed is superb and you get them in to the rooms.
There are few cons unfortunately. The place can be more clean and the smell of rooms is not good due to lack of ventilation. Air of the outside is fresh and clean and I can't undestand why they don't let them come in. The other thing is we were a couple and they didn't have double bed, only 2 twin beds which I found bit uncomfortable.

This hotel need to improve with English speaking staff also has to provide food atleast tea or cafe.

A memorable & cosy stay close to rustling water and nature

Excellent Hotel

Small room - very basic. 
Staff Nice and helpful. 
We thought this hotel Would be close to the entrance to Horton Plains - but it is not! 
There seems to be a short cut to Horton Plains not far from the hotel- but you can't use it. So even after an early start at 5 pm we didnt reach  Farr Inn until 7.30. 

Basic but considering the price - reasonable. 

We stayed for one night on passing through the area after climbing Adam's Peak. 
Rooms and setting was very basic but clean and pleasant. Staff were very sweet and friendly. Food was good. 
Few creepy crawlies like a small lizard and ants in the room but this is normal in such green locations.  
Although don't have anything bad to say, it wasn't a memorable hotel for us. 

Basic good value accommodation 

30th April , We were at the water garden street food outlet. Ordered a rosted chiken koththu & a pork devel.
They mixed some (leftover) kiri hodi with the koththu, & it can not eat. Smells very ugly.
Pork devel, Pork fried like charcoal. To thick the source added corn starch, it was too much. Very sticky. Beryl eatable.
Once I called the owner to inform, the man refuse to answer the phone. Then I went again & made a complain on this , to the hotel @ to the public health officials in the aria. I do have the bill & pictures to proof.
