The big wooden door opened with a creak, and inside, sitting behind the hotel desk, almost in the dark, was the nicest desk clerk. What a delightful place! Part of the delight was the unique aspects of the hotel. It's like spending the night at the museum - because it is part that. From what I was able to learn - I think - is that the owner was a collector of art and of historical artifacts. Consequently, the place is sprinkled heavily with statues and paintings, both inside and out. The other is that it's a nice hotel in its own right. Our room was a little small, but clean and comfortable. The inn's location also is just a 10 minute walk from el centro where there was a hive of activity. The staff is TOP notch. We woke up a little late, but the proprietor fixed us breakfast and made us feel at home. Valdepenas is fun little Spanish town, and I would go back for another taste for sure - and spend another night at the museum!

Trippy place - in a good way!

Very good relationship quality price and with the good quality services the treatment of the staff is pleasant and correct and it is also well located in the population to be able to access most of the town on foot.

The Hospederia Museo hotel in Valdepenas is a find!  Very friendly staff who all seem to go the extra mile for the customers.  Located in a quiet area but very easy to walk to main square and restaurants.  Air Con is appreciated especially at night in this beautiful part of Spain.  Immaculata welcomed us and went out of her way to make us as comfortable as possilbe.  I would definitely stay here again.  Thank you for the lovely staff for a great welcome.

Lovely Relaxing Stay in Valdepenas

A quiet and relaxed small hotel, a ten minute easy walk to the central square.Clean and comfortable, great value for money. Decorated with a quirky mixture of statues and bronzes with Japanese influences.
The staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed only one night and if we return to Valdepeñas we will stay here again.The room is very cozy, very comfortable and everything very clean.The very friendly staff, even at the exit, gave us a bottle of wine from the land.

It's a lovely place to visit.

We booked this on the off chance from the internet and it turned out to be an excellent choice. It’s located in a quiet area just over a five minute stroll from the town centre. The room was most comfortable and well equipped and the staff, while speaking little English were friendly and helpful. The owner even gave us a lift to the station on departure. The building itself is an old bodega with much history.With regard to service, cleanliness and sleep quality, all were excellent, I have noted this here as I was not able to grade them in the boxes below.

Excellent find

Treatment is invaluable!!! Rustic, welcoming, calm, the lack of being able to eat or dine in it, but the rest is invaluable!!! To repeat, if I have to go back to Valdepeñas I will not hesitate, kind and willing people to please.

The hotel has a very original colonial atmosphere, fantastic attention, the best bed, trouble sleeping and sleeping like a lion, and pets are allowed, a 10-minute walk from the town hall square.

We were sent back to this hotel from the Valdepeñas hostel where we had reservations because if the AACC had them and they were waiting for us wonderfully The charming and super respectful day manager The room was very large, we were three and we were very pleased The beds and pillows were very comfortable We were super well rested This was what we needed when we were traveling south It had our cafeteria service, and they offered to open us before breakfast The gentleman who was at the reception at night, I am very pleased too The building is a restored cabin and the original doors are other things, decorated with rustic furniture, the patio interior is very pleasant although they were reserved Very conveniently If there are very few amenities, the AACC operates, and we are very pleased to return to our room When we arrive at the hotel we will be very pleased to have all the amenities available.
