Iris Apartments

Nine of us visited here for two weeks in August 2019, and reserved two apartments , one x three bed and one x two bed. Together with my daughters and their families we had a fabulous time. From booking to check in to departure everything was easy. It is a very relaxed small complex of 10 'town houses' , note, the bedrooms are upstairs. Arrival was easy, keys left for us in the open apartment , with our payment picked up from us the next morning. Plenty of kitchen utensils etc, and if you needed anything you just had to ask. Fresh towels every few days and new bedding once a week. The manager Juanho came round everyday to make sure everything was ok, and the cleaners Jeanie and Rita were fab, so friendly.... and extra towel please... no problem. The pool is small and can be busy at times , as there was a lot of children there at the time, at this point i would point out that the complex was most suited to families with children 5-15yrs. Several BBQ were made available for anyone to use, and there was a shared washing machine. It was a short 10 min walk to the nearest Spar and 15 minutes to ( 2 mins drive) walk to a very well stocked Carrefour. We walked bought a mega shop and got a taxi back 6e , worth it as prices are much cheaper than the Spar, and there is fresh, fish, and meat etc.( not available at any Spar shop) sa Comea itself is very busy in August with plenty of good restaurant, i would recommend any from the top 10 on Tripadvisor. the main beach is soft sand and gently shelving, but beware the 'beige sunbeds' 35e for 2 beds and umbrella. The blue sunbeds 16e for same. S'illot beach is a little walk away over the wooden bridge , it's very pretty but very stoney as you enter the water. All in all a great holiday was had by all.
