The best of family business experiences. The lady cooks and gives cooking lessons. She loves the art and is determined to cook to the best always. The menu is short to ensure all ingredients are fresh and mostly locally sourced. Our steaks melted in our mouths which is so often not the case. Her deserts were marvellous. One eats in the courtyard if the weather permits (which it did) . We were alone which made it extra special. The man of the house is the waiter. He has not been to hotel school but the quiet charming way he works in makes such faults as leaning across forgivable. In fact it de-formalises the atmosphere. Excellent toilet facilities. We did not stay in the hotel so no comment. There is a small amount of dirt track to arrive at the hotel door. Parking is possible in the outer court amongst the trees but if busy I suspect overflow into the external track and sun might be necessary
