Festa Sant Pere Pesacador Apartamentos

We spent three nights in this modern apartment in the charming old village of Sant Pere Pescador. It is about 2 miles to the nearest beach, which was full of kitesurfers on the day we went. The village is also an excellent base for touring and sightseeing. Within about 30 minutes you can drive to any number of other beaches, or to other Catalan attractions such as the medieval town of Girona, the big nature reserve of Aiguamolls de l'Emporda, the town of Begur or to the Salvador Dali museum in Figueres. We met very few other tourists except in the towns. The apartment itself is modern and spacious, and very clean. It is on the second floor (but there is a lift) and has sleeping accommodation for four in an open plan area above the living accommodation, plus one bedroom for another two people. There is also a small roof terrace, accessed through a window from the upstairs sleeping area, and a smaller balcony. The apartment is only lightly equipped (no iron or vacuum cleaner, for example, and not much cooking equipment) and would have benefited from some information about local shops and attractions. And if you are troubled (or think you are) by one village clock that strikes the quarter hour all through the night, and a second one that strikes only on the hour, but three minutes after the first, you'll have to sleep with the windows closed! Luckily there are air conditioning units in the sleeping areas. And we slept so well that I didn't notice the clocks.
