8 reviewsIf you are travelling from Granada to Murcia, or from Jaén to Almería, this is the place to stay. In a tiny hamlet, just off the A-92 - though you'd never know it - with carpets of newly harvested almonds drying in front of the houses, you'll find a grand traditional familly townhouse. We were the last guests of the season, and were afforded wonderful hospitality and gentle kindness by Doña Luz and Don Manolo. They even opened the swimming pool just for us. A comfortable and quiet room looked out onto the orchards. For a very few euros more, breakfast included the lightest homemade cake and Luz's secret-recipe plum jam, just a mouthful of which would get her a TV series in the UK. We'd make a major detour in future just to be able to stay again.
