We were on the road to buy olive oil in Priego de Cordoba and on purpose arrived during siesta time. We didn't know the place and just hopped in. As many we did the menú del día. We choose for the salad con manzana y queso de cabra and the salmorejo cordobés as a starter. The salad was very fresh with crispy pieces of apple and lovely dressing. The salmorejo was in one word: Lovely. For the second plate we both choose a typical menu from the region, flamenquín casera served with some french fries and a bit of salad. The postres were natillas con galletas maria with on top cinnamon and flan huevos con nata. Perfecta. If you are in the area than go in. Menú del día for only €8.50 with bread, lovely olives and one drink included. I took a cortado as I always do and costs only €1.10 extra. So good price, good service from the lovely camarera and lovely food that made us ready to buy liters(45) of olive oil and heads us back to Nerja
