Old Chocolate Factory+

We had such a warm and welcoming stay at this lovely boutique hotel over Xmas! For us it was just the best! We have been coming to the Island for over 15 years and just discovered this little gem. We have 3 kids and normally struggle to get a large enough room for us all. We wanted something different than just your standard hotel room. The room we had in the old chocolate factory had two bunk beds (so it could have hosted 6 people)and the kids absolutely loved it! The room had a small toilet and shower as well but we were welcomed to use the communal bathroom in the hall as well so no problem for us. The hotel is so stunning, the owners have the most amazing taste, every space is special and the attention to detail is superb! We loved the fact that when we got back late in the evenings they lit candles in the entrance and rooms downstairs for us. The breakfast was simple but nice and homemade! Home made baked bread and home made yoghurt and jams. So cute set up at breakfast with small intimate tables outside each rooms. Elisa who works there is just the loveliest and nothing was ever a problem! We can truly recommend this very warm and friendly place who is very close to all historical buildings, shops (Triana) and nice restaurants in Las Palmas. If you hire a car it’s 5 min drive to the city beach Las Canteras or £5 in a taxi and 30 min to the more touristic areas in the south of the Island. We managed to find free parking around the hotel. We will definitely be back!
