Situated in what was a quieter area of Calpe, this little pension is a lovely find. We found parking plentiful and free at this time of the year. We were given a very warm welcome by the friendly owner who also pointed out on a map that he gave us some areas of interest. They have a communal kitchen which he showed us with all facilities should you wish to make something to eat. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a large terrace which got the sunshine all day with comfortable seating. The room was also equipped with a small fridge and kettle, teabags, coffee and biscuits were replenished each day. We would not hesitate to return to El Hidalgo should we visit Calpe in the future.
