Les Dunes Centro

We were on holiday in Benidorm for a week staying in seaview apartments on Levante beach. We decided to stay in Benidorm for another week but unfortunately our seafront apartment had no availability so we found these apartments,at a greatly reduced price, online. I was concerned they were only 1* but l was delighted when we checked in. They were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, perfect for us as a family. My daughter and granddaughter had just spent 1 week on sofa bed. Oven, large fridge freezer and washer (great as we'd only catered for a week away so washed clothes, beach towels etc.) Check-in was confusing but after a quick phone call a lady came to us who was working inside the apartments and let us in. Beach a 5 minute walk, bars ,shops and restaurants a couple of minutes walk. Close to Old town and 10 minutes from strip. Pool small and sometimes shaded but had it to ourselves 90% of time. Several sunbeds available. Small issue with pool not opening til 10am. 2 days nobody came to open up til 11am and after complaining I was told the issue would be addressed. Everyone we dealt with was very kind and helpful except the young lady who came at 11am to open up the pool on 1 of the 2 days. She was rude and dismissive. She never spoke, no hello, no apology and when l pointed out the opening times she wafted her hand in my face! I was not impressed having waited an hour in a stiffling, hot glass foyer. Despite the pool issue I did not let it spoil the holiday. I raised this complaint and was reassured that the problem had been recognised and would be addressed. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to several friends.
