During a trip to visit family in the nearby village of Los Gallardos we had two wonderful meals in the restaurant at the Hotel Tikar. The first time was for lunch. We had spinach salad with feta cheese and warm pasta in apple and curry sauce to start, cooked beef and grilled salmon for main, and the sautéed bananas and lemon tart for dessert. We enjoyed the food and hospitality so much that we decided to return the following evening to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The next time round we had grilled asparagus and pasta in four cheese sauce to start, duck leg confit and lamb shank for main and molten chocolate cake and the sautéed bananas for dessert. On both occasions Sean and the team were most welcoming. They were also accommodating in providing food that was suitable for our toddler.
