56 reviewsGood hotel for a cheap weekend mostly spent on the beach. Our room was for 3 people, but very small. The beds were definitely crammed in! But we got a cheap deal, and didn't plan to spend much time in the room so this was fine. We had booked a room rate with breakfast included through a travel website, but on arrival were told that the hostal did not offer any breakfast facilities, which was an unfortunate surprise. There was a coffee vending machine, but the quality was quite poor, so we preferred having breakfast and a coffee in the morning in a small cafe nearby. We walked about 25 minutes to the beach, but it was a pleasant walk down. Within 10 minutes are many bars and restaurants, you won't be short of choice. We arrived at the hostal by taxi from the bus station, it's only a 5 minute journey, but i'd recommend getting a taxi just so you know where you're going! it would also be more like 30 minutes on foot, which isn't ideal with luggage. The hostal staff were very helpful, allowing us to leave our bags with them after checkout. If you want a cheap, no frills base for exploring Almeria then this is the place.
