Laguna Park 1

Firstly can i say that this hotel isnt as bad as people are making it out to be. We arrived to our hotel late, like 11:30pm, so missed dinner which we should of had, but when we got to our room they had left us a food package full of sandwiches, snacks and drinks which we were so thankful for! The only dislike i had was that the pool had a few tiles missing which could easily be fixed. The hotel was cleaned throughly everday and the cleaners were all absolutely lovely and a delight to speak to every morning. The staff at the reception and the security guards were all lovely and polite! I literally can not fault the service and cleanliness of this hotel. I almost cancelled due to the bad reviews, but i am soo glad i didnt! I dont know what people are expecting for a 3* hotel! We absolutely loved it! I had my husband and 2 kids, age 2 and 4 with me and they loved it too. The childrens entertainer was absolutely brilliant also, Gintas? I think was his name, so much fun and a delight to chat with. My kids loved him! The kids disco was repetitive but my kids loved it lol. They have a parrot and snake show, which is great to go to too. It does lack a childrens area/park which it says on the hotel map there is a park, but when you go there, there isn't sadly. We went out of season so it was lovely for us, and its not classed as a family hotel but I would say it is fine for families. It was quite quiet when we went so was good for us as we dont like it too busy. Yeah there were a few cock roaches here and there at night around the hotel ground, but its spain! I think they must treat them though as they were always dead by the morning and my kids are obsessed with bugs anyway so only added to the fun for them lol. They weren't in our room so i wasn't complaining. The food is great! I really dont know what people are moaning about, theres so much choice, dinner gets changed everyday to something different. They have a salad bar, fresh bread rolls everyday, a main meal, a sides, soup, dessert, and a meat section and on each section is about 5 different selections of food. The drinks are fab! Cocktail of the day was always good and being all inclusive was just awesome! All local drinks are included the Breakfast was just brilliant. We are not fussy eaters though. Lunch was great and the snacks from the pool bar were hot dogs, burgers, chips and salad. There was also other food you could order but had to pay for like pizza and sandwiches, slushies and ice creams. The dining room is quite small so get there early and you'll be fine, I wouldnt have liked to go when it was peak season tbh as i recon it could get quite packed in there. We never had a problem with seating but as i say we went out of season. The beach wasnt too far, we found short cut down a steep hill which brings you to a carpark which has a lift that basically brings you straight to the beach. Literally a 10 min walk but not for the faint hearted! Its difficult going back up with a buggy and well just in general, but kept us super fit never the less lol. We rented a little granny mobile thing in the end which helped so much! Saved us walking back up the hill loads. The rooms are Gorgeous! So spacious with a beautiful balcony view. Has eveything you need, fridge with small freezer, pans, cooker, utensils. Clean and fresh bedding. There are no bedside tables which is wierd, but we managed without. Overall, we had 10 days at the hotel and the location is just fantasic! With Aqualand and Siam park within walking distance, which are both the most incredible waterparks too! We had a car and parked round the back on the stoney road for free with no problems. We would defintely stay again. 10/10! Lovely hotel for what we paid. We had a great family holiday!
