It's not a hotel, but a dormitory. Everything is too old and not managed.

Location first..!!

Stayed 1 night here as part of our tour package. This is more like an apartment/condo type accommodation near Seorak National Park. The room was spacious with 2 bedrooms & separate living room/dining/kitchen. However, the rooms are quite old. We left the doors of our room open as the airconditioning unit was only in the living room area.  There’s also an electric fan for added ventilation.

A bit old but spacious

The hotel is a bit creepy, hallway is dark and the light keeps flickering (just like in horror movie. haha). But the room is spacious. It has 2 bedroom, 1 with single bed and the other is double bed. Also has functional pantry with dining table, next to the living room. They provide cattle and microwave. TV cable is available, but it's hard to understand because it's all Korean program. TV remote and aircond / heater also in Korea, so hard to use.

When in nighttime, the floor is heated for your comfort (it was 7'c when i was there). Tatami is also available if you prefer to sleep on the heated floor.

breakfast buffet is nice - not much choice, but still nice. serving traditional food, but there is also bread and jam, and cereal if you prefer your western meal. The restaurant is overlooking the mountain, very nice view. It's nice that you will have to clear your own table and put the plate at a designated area. I guess it's a Korean culture.

Nice hotel but dated.

I understand it is an old and inexpensive facility. but at least, it should be clean. The room was not clean. Even considering the inexpensive cost, it was not a pleasant stay.

This is a very old property, It feels like staying in a horror house. Everything is old and outdated, very uncomfortable stay. Cleanliness must be improved, breakfast is okay the hotel management should seriously consider renovation.

Old and creepy hotel

The lobby is fairly nice. The room was the shabbiest room we have ever stayed in. Bright pink wallpaper torn, worn, and peeling off the walls, a very worn outdated orange sofa, in great need of a paint job, wrinkled too long gold curtains. Only 2 electrical outlets that work in the 2 bedroom condo. Room desperately needs a renovation.

Needs renovating

Yeah .. you might want to try another place. The cleanliness .. yikes! After looking at 9 rooms, I settled on a bed with hairs in it, which I changed myself. It was better than two other rooms with bathrooms that had leaky toilets. Water was everywhere. The great news was the bathrooms had sandals. I wonder if it was to combat the leaky toilets? Shower curtain .. who needs one! That’s what the sandals are for. For three nights I slept with my WINTER JACKET on. There’s lots of hotels around. For mercy sake stay somewhere else! Especially if you have a choice. I would have and tried to leave. I was forced to stay at The Soo. I had no choice. And people ask yourself this, how many resorts have you stayed at that has a bowling pin at the front entrance. That’s a warning sign. 

No frills, lots of spills, no thank you

This "Resort" is located 5 minutes (or around 5k Korean Won) away from the city of Sokcho. If You are about to be loud during your sexual adventures or you are seeking some sort of asylum - You are most welcome to spend your days here. 
Most of the rooms in B building are private flats with 3 bedrooms and one livingroom / kitchen. 
Small thing - there are no beds - apart from one full size bed and sofa in the livingroom rest of the guests are staying on the floor (heated). So in a sense it is healthy, yet unusual and not worth Your own money. 
Romms are clean, however since the building has been built 20+ years ago it is simply worn out to the level I would not recommend it. 
This is clearly for those who are about to expereince some rare type of a "Resort" - book at Your own risk!
