78on5th in Hermanus

Stayed for three nights and it was lovely! To be honest, the photos don’t do the place justice, it has an amazing view and the apartment itself was nice and spacious with a great terrace. Also the hosts are very nice and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

This week was simply one of the easiest, quickest and no fuss bookings I have ever made. We enjoyed an awesome facility in an awesome location close to the sea. Hermanus is a great place just to get away and we will be staying here much more if available. 

It was exactly what we wanted and needed. The whole stay and accommodation exceeded our expectations.

We had an amazing stay at our favorite place in Hermanus.....this was our 3rd visit. Our 1st visit since covid hit and love the new changes and self catering options..... Such a beautiful place and can't wait for our next visit 

The most beautiful flat ever - artwork to die for. Beautiful view of the mountain and the sea. Balcony to sunbathe on.

Spacious apartment with big kitchen and living room. I would definitely stay there again!  The owners and manager are friendly and helpful and everything clean. The swimming pool is a great place to chill.

Mandy is very accommodating and the rooms are great, with a nice pool area. A short trip into the centre of town (about 3km) for evening meals although our room also had a kitchen area with everything you might need.

Our second stay here and not dissappointed! The hotel is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Hermanus near Grotto Beach. Its ideal for coastal walks and only 5 minutes from the centre of town. Mandy makes you very welcome and provides all the ingredients for a fabulous holiday.

My husband and I had a three week stay at this great b&b.  We stayed in room 7 which was large, open plan and very comfortable.  Mandy and the owners, Jose and Ton, were all lovely, chatty and helpful and their staff always friendly and polite.  It’s located in one of the best parts of Hermanus, close to lots of fabulous beaches with cliff path walks and the stunning Fernkloof Nature Reserve directly behind.  Hermanus is our favourite place on the garden route and it’s the fourth time we’ve been here.  It definitely deserves more than a couple of nights stay as there’s lots to see and do with great shops, restaurants and vineyards to visit.  Would highly recommend.

What an absolute gem nestled at the foot of the Fernkloof Nature Reserve. We were met by Josè who is welcoming, friendly and professional. We stayed in Unit 1(2). The magnificent views that was seen from our private balcony left us feeling one with nature. From the magestic mountains to the sugar birds having a bath in the nearby bird bath. We enjoyed every second of our stay here! The unit is well equipped and generally quite clean. Free WiFi is great! Loved the beautiful pool too and easy access to it. This place was more than we expected and we will certainly be back 😁

December holiday

This property is in a quiet street of Hermanus, with a beautiful setting! We really enjoyed the fact that the room was spacious with a good quality mattress and linen. Your patio deck affords you indoor/outdoor flow and because it’s equipped with a fridge, microwave and kettle, it lends itself to longer stays!

The swimming pool deck with loungers is attractive and the hostess Mandy, was so accommodating!  I can highly recommend this B&B!

A worthwhile stay

We stayed at 78on5th for three days and it was most enjoyable. Mandy is absolutely great and the overall service was excellent. The setting is amazing and close to amenities. The rooms could do with some updating but our room was very clean. Pleasant staff that takes good care of your needs. Will definitely visit again.

We had the most friendly welcome anyone can ask for! Our room was stunning and the views spectacular!!! Mandy our host is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and nothing is too much for the staff! We could only stay one night but will definitely come back!!! Thank you for an excellent experience in Hermanus.

Wow, loved every minute spent at your place, everything was in tip top shape and the hosts everything you always envision others to be. Amazing stay!

Two wonderful hosts, a spacious appartment and a terras with a magnificent view. All this within short walking distance of a minimarket, coastline en restaurants. Hermanus and Fernkloof are worth visiting! Especially in the whale season.
