My wife and I stayed in one of the annex rooms. We shared a kitchen with one other couple but we had a private shower and toilet. The room was a nice size with shelving, hooks, big windows and free internet. There was also a TV but none of the channels worked so I didn't really see any point in that. Better to just take it out. The room has a heater but no air conditioner. It wasn't that hot out when we were there though so opening a window was just fine. The location is pretty decent. A 5 minute walk from Novy Smokovec station and about 10 a minute walk to the Vysoke Tatry (Stary Smokovec station) funicular (the one that takes you up to Hrebeniok). There are also a number of cafes and shops just east of the property including a small supermarket. We didn't really have any problems with the place. Our only bit of criticism would be to take down or change the big flashy Penzion Gabriel sign on the main building. It's super tacky and doesn't really the fit the mountain/nature atmosphere.
