Paula's Country Inn

As a frequent business traveler you get in most of the fancy hotels of the world, but for this trip I had chosen a small boutique Hotel on the little Island of Saint Martin, Paula's Country Inn in Cul de Sac. The checking was cool, Paula who is the owner was there and because I booked via Expedia all was good arranged. Her Son Delano welcomed me also, the personal touch I got on checking you will not see in any business Hotel. The hotel is situated in the residential area of the Island and it will give you a good feel of the local hospitality. People are just so friendly. the owner showed me the room which was a nice large apartment with everything you need either for a short or long stay, Kitchen, 2 sofa's tv but who needs one on a Island with that much beautiful beaches, nice bathroom with Bath and shower. Bedroom is a family room with one king and 2 single beds air condition that works. All was very clean. if you are looking for an upscale Hotel go to the Windsor but if you are looking for something local with everything you need go to Paula's Country Inn, a small very clean swimming pool and hot tub on the first floor with a stunning view of the Island and some seat to relax. On Sunday the owner brought me a delicious local breakfast, very much appreciated. This hotel/apartments will make you feel home and gives you a local experience..
