View over Cluj are amazing, especially at night! The place is well managed too and the host is available easily.

The location is a trek if you walk but an easy cab ride. There’s a non stop store at the bottom of the hill for convenience.

Views over cluj

We got a flat at the first floor with 2 rooms and a kitchenette corner. The flat is more suitable for a big family than for a group of friends, as the entrance to the second room is through the first room (no privacy in the first room). Also, even if there are 7 beds available, there were only 4 chairs and a small table in the kitchenette.
The kitchenette was well equipped and the rooms and bathroom were clean and equipped with bed linen and towels. The view from the window was nice and panoramic towards Cluj city. The level of accommodation itself deserves an above-the-average rating, but the fact that this flat can be accessed only via a car and there are no usable parking places around deserves a worse than poor rating.

Basically, the yard of this house is built on a steep slope and at a turn of the road, with a high metallic bar (to support the gates) at the entrance. The car (economy car, normal 5-person size) got a very bad scratch the very  first day when we tried to park it in the yard (as it is almost impossible to take a car out from that yard unless you have a terrain high-wheeled car or a tractor). The following nights, when parking at about 500m away at the only available free places on the steep road, we got signals on our cars from the neighbors that we are not allowed to park in there. So basically, there is no usable parking places around: either you park in their small yard (where there is barely place for 2 cars) and risk to destroy your car in the process or you park on the steep street at 200-1000m around (if free places) and risk to get your car scratched by upset neighbors. If you plan to go by taxi in there, then things are OK.

Guest house is OK, but there are no usable parking places unless you want to destroy your car

We stayed at Studhaus for the Untold festival with a group of friends. The house has all amenities needed, but as basic standards. Don't expect any luxury.
The host was really nice and helpful. I'd give a good rating especially thanks to the host,as they were available whenever we needed.
