Transylvania Hostel

The staff was super amazing from start to finish! 

The showers and toilets are very clean!

The bedrooms are comfortable and clean.

There is a large living area, game room, outdoor area, and kitchen area.

Also there are many funny signs around the hostel for your entertainment! 

I miss my flight to turkey after Untold festival so I decided to stay for a couple days more until I could find another flight to turkey, so I looked in the internet and in Hostelworld and I saw availability in the hostel so I decided to go to Transylvania Hostel... best decision ever!!! Really since the moment that I arrived the crew was surprisingly welcoming but especially Zoli and Andrea were to kind, helpful and really they made me feel like at home all the time, I arrived really late at night so I couldn’t pay instantly and they wait for me until the next day that I woke up with out any pressure, I was very grateful for that, then I met another guests from the hostel, Andrea took us to have some dinner in a great place called KlausenBurger with an amazing view of the city, and the most important thing it’s that the guests and the staff became friends so after that I decided to stay for the all week! Thank you guys I’m definitely going back whenever I can to Cluj and to Transylvania Hostel that’s a promise!! It’s not a good bye it’s a see you soon!

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed! The beds are super comfortable and the location is perfect. The owner and the staff are so helpful!! Thank you so much!! Definately gonna stay there again when I’m in Cluj

very central, right next to all the main attractions and sights, amazing and super-friendly staff, they give their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, shared kitchen, free breakfast is simple but good, fancy garden to chill out, games room with books games and more, not very clean but for the low price it’s absolutely fine

Okay enough. Expensive for room as hostels go. Bed is good,clean as can be over old and worn out. More water comes out of shower hose then shower. If ya figure out how to use that to your advantage. Good shower. Always hot water. They advertise breakfast but on table is plaque saying they don't have to include breakfast. It's corn flakes.musil milk. Cookies jam bread. Or no bread just cookies. Old building. A locked door into every room doors are kept shut and it's stuffy and hot inside. Even on beautiful sunny days...quit stuffy. Staff friendly. If you need to leave before office open they are very helpful as there is a key deposit.

Amazing staff & good location

cosy hostel in the very centre of Cluj

Home of haunted forest

Firstly communication was staff was fantastic right from the confirmation email. They were friendly and attentive, especially Andrea! The hostel was also clean with good facilities. 
I was disappointed in the communal area and the standard of the WiFi. I also didn’t like that you had to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom. You are provided with lockers but I felt the outside security wasn’t great.
