Crama Haiducilor-cluj Napoca

I was at the Crama Haiducilor with a few Austrian friends, me being Romanian, i wanted to show them a authentic Romanian decorated hotel at which the Hotel didnt fail at all to show. All the potery and the traditional Towels were hand made and are a beautifull example of the Romanian artisanal craft. We even got a small tour of the hotels beautifull cellar where you can have a meal in a traditional decorated hall.Sadly we coudnt have a dinner there because it has to be booked in advance.The employees were very nice and helpful and even if we had a problem with the paying (the site i was booking from didnt forward my money to the hotel) they were very calm and reasurred me that the problem will be fixed.We even got a small glas of the tratidional Palinca (a Romanian liquor) for free. What impressed me most was that i got a beautifull present on the last day. The only unexpected thing was that even if they serve breakfast they dont have a menu nor did theyhad a self serving bar so you have to tell the employees what you wish to have. But even so the food was amazing, very fresh and delicious so everyone of us were at the end very happy with the breakfast. The suite we had was spacious and the furniture was also very nice, the beds comfortable. Our room had a spacious bath with two washing tables and a bathub, the only minus was that the bath didnt have a shower curtain so taking a shower standing up wasnt possible unless getting the floor wet. The room climate was very pleasant even at day when it was very hot outside the room had a optimal temperature. The only downward point was that the air at night was somewhat dry even with the windows cracked maybe a plant would help humidify the air.. I myself had a very pleasant stay and the next time i will go to Cluj i will take the same hotel. It is a great Hotel that i can only praise and recommend to everyone. Razvan Muresan
