We stayed at a Dunas do Alvor apartment from Torralvor. We had a 1 bedroom apartment that slept 4. It was a large apartment and well equipped. Large fridge freezer, microwave 4 electric hobs, kettle, coffee pod machine, TV, dining table, 2 lounge chairs and coffee table. It even had a free Safe, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Aircon was the only issue. Kept the main room cold but did not reach the bedroom so this was warm so had to have window open. Needed separate aircon for bedroom. Cleaned / towels once a week. The pool is excellent, very large the pictures don’t do it justice. Both the pool attendants are excellent and provide you with clean mattresses and umbrellas. 2 nice bars and a lovely restraint Tesouros sell good value food and cheap coffee and beer. Intermarché is 2 minutes walk and lots of nice restaurants nearby. 5-7 minute walk to beach and boardwalk 5 minute walk to the harbour area / old town. Would definitely return.
