We flew into Krakow and transferred down to Zakopane, approx 1 hr 45 mins trip each way. We arrived 22.30 at night so had to pay an excess on the booking. We had 4 apartments and it was a bit confusing which rooms had the right bedrooms. Eventually we got the right ones! We had a one bed, but the apartment was massive. It contained a huge living area, with kitchen/diner (microwave oven, fridge & dishwasher). Bathroom again was big enough to hold a dance. We had a bath & separate shower cubicle. Beds were comfortable and ours had a separate pull down if you had a child. We didn’t use the spa as it didn’t open until 14.00. It looked very small but it was well used from what we saw. Only problem we had was the temperature in the rooms, too hot!!! We had to open windows to cool it down. There isn’t any restaurants on site, but supermarket is just 5 mins walk away. Location is slightly out of the town centre across the park. We loved our stay and enjoyed Zakopane. It felt safe and welcoming. English is not spoken by the majority but you can make yourself understood and it’s kind of fun.
