Gosciniec Rabe

Very nice please to go with children, close to mountains and Solina lake.  The resort has the swimming pool and place to grill. The food is regional, very good and tasty. I recommend this place to everyone.

We visited Gosciniec Rabe in July and are already looking forward to going back. The lodge is beautiful, clean and there is plenty for the kids to do. Our little one was extremely happy there. They have a beautiful outdoor space with jungle gym, friendly sheep to pet, a nice clean swimming pool to splash in and a very thoughtful play area in the dining room. The food was exactly what you want when visiting Poland - a true taste of Poland. We all enjoyed the home-style polish meals. Added bonuses: the hosts are lovely, down to earth and genuine, we felt looked after throughout, the beer fridge is always stocked and the beers always cold, the location is peaceful and idyllic. We would definitely recommend this place to others and look forward to our next visit.

We visited Rabe over Christmas 2016 - an extended family group of 20 people.

Welcomed at the door by Adam and his wife Anna, they could not have been more friendly. The whole building is a large log 'cabin'. Originally Adam's family sheep barn, it has been renovated, extended and furnished in a simple but comfortable manner.

The area around is stunning in winter and summer too. Low mountains, forest (with Bears and Wolves) and frequently that rare thing - silence.

A home from home, we could not have been more comfortable, with free wifi, a blazing log-burner and music / TV if required.

The children were able to sledge down the hill behind the residence, even to use the ski lift. Adults were well catered for with good, traditional food during the day and occasional BBQs over a roaring fire at night. Well-priced beer was always chilled in the fridge with an honesty box to cover the minimal cost (less than 1GB£ / bottle!)

Bedrooms were comfortable and all had en-suite bathrooms and showers. Everything was spotlessly clean.

All in all this could not have been a more authentic or comfortable experience.
