Our family all stayed here for our nephew's wedding to a local Polish girl. The Polish wedding was certainly a new experience, going on until 4 a.m. with vast quantities of food and vodka! However the accommodation and breakfasts were very disappointing. 

Our rooms were not serviced at all over the four nights, with no cleaning or towel changes, and it was the first time I've stayed in a hotel room that had no curtains, just net curtains. Rooms walls were paper thin, with noise disturbance from adjoining rooms. Breakfasts in Poland are not exciting, but here we could not have breakfast before 9 a.m., and then items arrived on the buffet table infrequently. Some times the free Wi-fi worked! Although food was available on our arrival on Friday night, the restaurant was shut for the rest of our stay, so the only other option was to travel by car to another village restaurant or nearby Olsztyn. It didn't help that only one of the staff spoke little English.

The location is wonderful, with views of the lake. Walks and boating is the main draw to this area where many Poles and Germans have their summer houses.

Disappointing Wedding Accomodation

my partner and i stayed in a glorified double room which was 2 separate hard bottom divans without a mattress, but a very thin built in padding. Each night the beds moved and we would fall down the middle, besides that we woke up with the worse back ache.  We were so stressed by the end. No one speaks english, so bring a good phrase book for the area. We were overcharged, and the food options were especially limited! 

The area is nice but you will leave more stressed than you came.

Worst nights sleep avoid

Rubbish service, rubbish food, waiting an hour and a half for a cold meal! One waitress serving about 30, who lacks respect and did not even apologise for the cold food or offer to warm it up! Areas are not properly painted, dirty and not generally pleasing.The hotel is placed in a beautiful area, but the hotel and especially the service is not so great. Don't visit this hotel unless you want to stay in expensive ugly rooms and wait and hour and a half for a cold meal!
