Hutch Lodge

Nice place in a quiet area a few minutes walk from town. Excellent all round

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed staying at the Hutch Lodging House. The room was very clean, and all the staff were quite exceptional. Extra kudos go out to Dado and Jeboy who really helped out during my trip there. Though the facility is located a bit out of town (about a 10 min walk), the view was quite exceptional when going on my morning walks into town. If you are looking for a more quiet, relaxed place to rest, but is still close to town, you should highly consider staying at Hutch.

G Boy was amazing and so attentive and polite.

Amazing helpfull staff, shout out to Joy! Great hostel if your on a budget since breakfast is included. The hostel gives you a home feeling. I intended to stay 3 nights and ended up extending to 10 nights! You get free water and can use the kitchen to make your own food. I will definatly come back. I love thos hostel!

The service is awesome. The girls at the front desk are very welcoming, will book all of your activities for you cook a great american or filipino breakfast. 

Bacuit Lodge is a good location in the town proper very close to everything yet we found our private room on the second floor very quiet.

Very quite place but it is not easy to go to due to the condition of the road.

What an amazing staff!!!! The girls are so welcoming and helpful. We wanted to stay one more night but they were full and the girl went to find out a room. Unbelievable. When we checked out we had a whole day tour and after she let us have a shower and booked us a van to Puerto princesa. Thank you so much!! It's so close to everywhere. Rooms are ok. Nice breakfast 

This lodge is family run with a touch of genuine hospitality. Toilet facilities are what you would expect from any local lodge, but comfortable and functional. Towels provided but bring your own personal toiletries.  The location is good as it is halfway accessible to the commercial area of El Nido and the island hopping starting and drop off point. Breakfast was ok but for the accommodation price, it was a good deal. They were also very kind to let us use their shower facility after check out and after island hopping. For hospitality and reliability, I give this lodge a perfect 10.

What I liked about best was that they booked us to an island hopping a and c combination with a responsible operator and the lunch was great. They arranged everything for us and made our El Nido your a pleasant experience.

Perfect hostel for the budget solo traveller

This is a budget hotel, with a very tiny CR. The only nice thing here is because it's in the town center. Our disappointment was from the brownout experience the whole afternoon until the evening and we can't even charge our phones.😞 We Have to ask the receptionist to tell owner that we need to charge and sleep at least with a fan. (We paid for 1k priced room with aircon and breakfast) So after asking the staff and bugging them to tell owner, the electricity came and we wondered if it was the generator or finally the brownout was over. In any case you're wondering, the owner has generator in the first place but didn't care enough to turn it on until someone( I guess)  complains or asks. Well, to top this disappointment, the curtain holders needs to be replaced, they're broken and kept falling on the bed, which we have to fix again and again. Anyway, this place is a lodge and more of a backpacker place, through price is too high for people who wants a budget quality place.  You can get a nice backpacker place with lesser price (700-800) with a better room and CR. I suggest the owner should at least give discounts to guests that experience brownouts. 

Not A Value For Money

One day prior I receive a fishy what’s app quoting I’ve been “upgraded” to a much nicer and expensive beach front hotel, first day of my stay, and later I’ll be acomodated back in my original hotel hutch.In coron I contacted the direct number details after a long 5 hours road trip from PPS, the I’m dropped to Thai horrible place when I’m acomkdated in a kind of maid’s room (Cadlao resort) when they didn’t want to provide me WiFi (as I was delayed at work I needed urgently to check my e mails) they me whooped my original hotel was overbooked and this is a favor they are doing to me so I don’t complain. Angry and desperate I wanted to leave to a different phage but at 12 nite not many other options. Next day the original Hutch not even offered me a breakfast or an apology. I was so upset. Pls don’t book HUTCH local management is overbooking rooms. Also I was thirsty and water bottle outside needed replacement and the staff told me bottle was heavy she cannot do it so I needed to wait an extra bite to drink water. Unbelievable
