The Emerald Playa

We stayed for 3 nights. The place has lot of potential and we choose this place because of it's location and we wanted to go out far from the noisy city. The pick up was smooth and on time. The room was great and internet connection was even better than in other places in Philippines. A plus would be to have a fridge in the room as the reception and the restaurant is closing at 8pm. We enjoyed our stay, but what there were few dissapointing things. When we arrived we were probably the only guests who have been there at this time and we have been told, - when, where to eat and in couple of days later a group of other tourists arrived they were able to have breakfast outside their bungalow and they were able to have a dinner later (we have been told to have a dinner by 6pm). I had a culinary crisis and had a massive cravings for chips - we have been told that they do not have chips, but when we ordered a sandwich it arrived with handful of chips and that staff was still saying that they do not have chips. The breakfast was mostly cold and once we got old butter without any apology whatsoever. The place is bird lover's paradise and as said there is lot of potential but next time we probably pay extra and we will choose the hotel next to bahay kubo.
