Plantation Bay Resort and Spa

We got married at Plantation Bay last October 16, and honestly, the whole experience was more than we ever hoped for. We had planned everything from overseas while juggling work, and if it weren’t for Maddie Muñasque from their Sales team, we don’t know how we would’ve managed. From our very first email in August all the way to checkout, she was incredibly patient, warm, and always on top of everything. She never made us feel like just another booking she really listened, understood what we wanted, and made every step so much easier. When we arrived in Cebu, our schedule turned hectic with a few last-minute changes, but Maddie handled everything calmly and somehow made even the stressful moments feel manageable. Meeting her in person for the first time during the food tasting confirmed what we already felt we were in good hands. She’s genuinely one of the reasons we chose Plantation Bay over the other resorts in Mactan. The wedding day itself was perfect. Our rooms were beautifully set up rose petals, candles, personalized touches, one of the most thoughtful room arrangements we’ve ever seen. The food at the reception was another highlight; our guests are still talking about it weeks later. We also want to mention Archie from bell service. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, he was consistently welcoming, helpful, and kind. It’s people like him who make a stay feel extra special. Both of us work in luxury hospitality, and many of our guests do too. Everyone noticed the warmth and genuine care from the team, especially from Maddie. That says a lot. Now that we’re home, we can’t help but rave about the resort to our colleagues and friends some have already looked it up for their next trip.
