This is the guest house Japanese owns. He is very kind and let us feel free to stay there. You can cook in the kitchen. If you pay 50 pesos, you can wash your clothes with the washing machine.

Security is good. There is a security guard in front of the residential area for 24 hours.
It makes us feel very safety.

It takes 5 minuets walk to the main road and you can go anywhere such as beach, restaurant, massage, spa and supermarket easily.

The room has a queen size bed, toilet, shower room and air conditioner. It is small but very comfortable enough. 

Towel change and cleaning in the room need extra money.

Anyway, we’d love it and hope to come back.

Cost performance is great!!

We have been on our travels around the world for 5 months and this is easily the WORST PLACE WE’VE STAYED IN. 

We definitely made the WRONG DECISION to stay at this place where our experience will never be forgotten for all the wrong reasons! 

This place is so loud! Barking dogs, banging building work (by the owner), screaming family children and the list goes on.. 

The kitchen is inaccessible most of the time. The family tend to use it a lot and you have to wait till it’s empty to use it which is usually very late - around 9pm.  

The kitchen is filthy and messy. This place also has 3 barking dogs and a cat that roams the kitchen and its counters. The cat ate our food as we were cooking, the family acknowledged these pets were in the kitchen and made no effort to remove them. 

Another facility issue we had was the laundry room which was when we used the washing machine at the back of the guesthouse. There is a pathway full of building work clutter that leads you there and it is full of dog / cat poo and smells really bad. 

My partner put his trainers outside our room door, right next to the door. He noticed that whilst checking out that this has gone missing and enquired about this only to be told that the cleaner put this in the rubbish and it has now gone. 

Firstly, we were surprised that they have a cleaner with the state of the place! 

Secondly, they did not check with him if it was rubbish or not. No common sense was shown. The cleaner stated that it is in the rules that whatever is left outside your door goes in the bin which is not true as the rule stated that any rubbish can be left outside and his NIKE trainers are NOT rubbish! And they didn’t even share this rule book with us upon our arrival. 

Whilst trying to resolve this issue, the cleaner was very aggressive and defensive refusing to acknowledge her actions, the male owner agreed to go to the bank and pay my partner a some sum of money to make up for the mistake that was made only to be stopped by his wife who demanded that it was our fault? Again, no common sense was shown and the wife and husband became very aggressive and defensive towards my partner. Again, whilst trying to resolve this and find some middle ground, we were threatened that if we don’t leave the police will be phoned and to avoid further delays (we had a bus to catch) and inconvenience, we made the decision to remove ourself from this distressing situation. 

To summarise, this accommodation is very loud, dirty, smells badly and is full of clutter.

The only good thing about our stay was that the wifi was pretty good. 

We would recommend staying elsewhere to avoid a bad experience! The photos of this property are deceptive and to a certain extent, false advertisement!

DO NOT STAY HERE!

This is a house where a Japanese gentleman lives with a horde of small dogs. So if you want to stay here you must be prepared to live in another man’s house. The dogs bark, run around and lick your toes. 

I really don’t like home stay and the owner was kind enough to let me cancel and go to another place. I don’t like the intrusion in someone’s privacy but if you don’t care about that you probably like home stay rooms.

The house was inside a protected area with guards and outside this area there were loads of “helpful” men who pestered me with what they could “help” me with. I assume they get a bonus if they manage to follow me to a new hotel or a restaurant. I saw some restaurants and shops but I managed to get away from this place and I found a better place to stay, closer to the airport. 

I was told that the beaches in this area are mostly private owned by hotel chains and that visitors from outside the hotel have to pay a lot of money to enter the beach. There are public beaches too but they are not close and I was told they are overcrowded and not nice.
